Gubbs, Inc. (or Gubbs) was incorporated in June 2002 and
opened for business in February 2004. Company founder Larry E.
Elvebak II, Ph.D., after spending 5 years in the chemical industry
and 5 years in the contract research organization (CRO) industry,
struck out on his own developing compliant metadata
management software solutions for scientific analysis laboratory
managers operating in FDA-regulated environments (GCP, GLP,
GMP). In addition, Gubbs provides complete computer
software/system validation services, specializing in
chromatography data systems (CDS) such as Perkin Elmer(R)
Totalchrom(TM) and MDS-Sciex(R) Analyst(R).
Gubbs is a virtual company incorporated in Massachusetts, the
biotechnology hub of the Northeast. Currently Dr. Elvebak
generates all products and provides all services. Gubbs is
expected to employ five to ten employees by the year 2007.
